PHUKET, Thailand – Khun Setthaphol Boottho, Executive Director of MontAzure, the expansive mixed-use development in Kamala, recently offered support in the form of a THB 30,000 donation to the Kamala Muslim Foundation to help fund the “Tonkla-Kamala Camp 2017”. The event is an annual educational camp, this year held from 5-20 April, to help children learn social skills and build the essentials of good citizenship. The camp takes place at Kamala Child Development Center with 200 children attending from the local area. Over the last few years, the developers of MontAzure have provided regular support to the local community in Kamala by providing equipment for kindergarten classes, sponsorship for English teachers and scholarships for students that pass the university entrance exam.
“MontAzure is always happy to support valuable community activities such as the summer camp as we believe they offer a very good opportunity for children to learn and develop important skills,” said Khun Setthaphol. “As a permanent part of Kamala we are keen to make a positive contribution for future generations.’
